The 1,768 kilometre BP-operated crude pipeline carrying Azeri and Kazakh barrels from Baku to the Mediterranean at Ceyhan.

  1. 2006-05-28

    First BTC crude reaches Ceyhan. Oil injected at Sangachal in May 2005 reached the Ceyhan terminal; first tanker sailed June 4.

  2. 2006-07

    BTC export system inaugurated at Ceyhan. Ceremony with the presidents of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia; bp operates the line.
